VMP 2024 – Volati Management ProgramTell us about yourself! I am originally from Karlstad. I studied engineering at Linköping University, first a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and then a master's degree in industrial economics. After completing my studies, I worked for four years at Hitachi Energy, among other things as a project manager for large construction projects.
Why did you apply for the Volati Management Program? I saw a unique opportunity to work with strategy, leadership and M&A; to contribute to the development of companies while developing as a leader. What distinguishes the program is that you get to see the businesses from different perspectives, from the companies' operational activities, strategy and management, but also from Volati's owner's perspective. The opportunity to combine strategic and hands-on work with various courses lays a good foundation for a future leadership role.
Tell us about your time as a VMP! I started this fall with a first rotation at Corroventa, where I led a project to strengthen and develop the company's supply chains. I also worked on acquisitions and developing the user experience of the company's digital product offering. In the spring, I will move to Scanmast and Mafi in Mora to work on their product portfolios and acquisitions. Next fall, my last rotation will be at Volati's headquarters in Stockholm.
What has VMP meant to you so far? It has been an intense and fun. In my projects I have had the privilege to work closely with the CEO, the management and the employees of the company and I have learned a lot about how businesses are run and developed. I was given a lot of responsibility and challenges, which was both educational and fun. Understanding Volati's business model and strategies provides a good foundation for the future and I have also started to build a fantastic network of VMP alumni and colleagues around the Volati Group.
